The University of Arkansas Center for Information Security & Reliability (ISR) was approved by the University of Arkansas System in 2010.  In April 2012, the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security designated ISR as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Research (CAE-R) for academic years 2012 through 2017.  In May 2014, the center was designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance/Cyber Defense Research (CAE-R) for academic years 2014 through 2019.  For more information, see the ISR website.
